PROGRAMS OF STUDY

Permanent Makeup Microblading/Microshading 2-Day course

 

    •    Course Description: This intensive two-day course was developed by expert microblading artist Diem Angie, who has performed over countless procedures and has been 6x certified. In this course, DALLORA BEAUTY ACADEMY will be teaching three different machine brows shading techniques: Ombre Eyebrows, Powdered/All Shading Eyebrows, and Combo (Microblading & Shading).

    •    Prerequisite Courses & Other Requirements for Admission to Program:

 

Prior to the commencement of the workshop, all students must hold a Bloodborne Pathogens and Infection Control certification and must provide staff with a copy of the certificate of completion. This certification can be completed online for a small fee of approximately $25. Students who do not have a Bloodborne Pathogens certificate will not work on live models during training and will not receive a certificate of completion. Additionally, all students must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school Diploma or GED.

    •    Program Objectives: The goal is to provide each student with comprehensive training to succeed and for them to obtain the techniques from the course. This course is to prepare students for a successful career in the art of Permanent Makeup through the implantation of tiny droplets of custom blended colored ink into the dermal layer of the skin.

    •    Grading: Dallora Beauty Academy has only two grades: pass and fail. Students will be assessed on their techniques, and those that pass will receive a certificate of completion. Student acknowledges that success is dependent on his/her application of practices learned in each course. The student additionally understands that minimum standards must be met to receive a certificate of completion. The school is in no way required to issue a certificate of completion unless the student performs satisfactorily in all aspects of the course(s). The instructor will make every effort to work diligently with each student to ensure successful completion of each course. Each student must continue to send their work on latex skin after the course and complete work on 1 live model to certify.

    •    Course Calendar/Frequency: This two day course is offered throughout the calendar year. The dates are listed below for the 2024 program:

TUITION & FEES

The tuition cost for the two day course is $3500 which includes all equipment and instructional materials. The non-refundable $500 registration fee is required to reserve a seat in the class. The course tuition is due in full three weeks prior to the commencement of the workshop.

Hair and Makeup Course 1-Day Course, 8 Hours

Our fresh and creative teaching methods – taught by industry professionals – developed from the need for a technically specific and practical syllabus, and is structured in a way to develop your style for your whole career.

Covering a whole range of skills a successful make-up artist needs to carry out safe and practical procedures, our goal is to give you the finest education possible from our comprehensive courses.

 

    •    In this class you will learn the skills necessary to become an established freelance hair stylist. We will teach you the top techniques for everything from bridal, photoshoots, film, and fashion shows. This class will leave you feeling confident in the many different aspects of the freelance business.

- Learn all the necessary skills and tricks of the trade needed to do makeup professionally. There's so much you need to learn and unlearn. We can help you on the path to a fun, fast career in the fashion, print, film and bridal makeup industry.

    •    Program Objectives: Everyone who works for DALLORA BEAUTY ACADEMY has got vast amount of experience within the industry and is credited by their achievements in their portfolio. This means students will receive detailed teaching on technical creative techniques and skills, and also benefit from their contacts and commercial understanding as working therapists. The classes are run throughout the year but are kept small – no more than 8 students per class in order to maximize the learning potential and learning outcomes. This ensures plenty of attention and one-to-one focus from specially trained educators.

Advanced Permanent Makeup-Machine Eyeliner 1-Day course

 

    •    Course Description: Course Description: This intensive one-day course was developed by expert microblading artist Diem Angie, who has performed over countless procedures and has been 6x certified. In this course, DALLORA BEAUTY ACADEMY will be teaching three different eyeliner techniques: Classic Eyeliner (Lashline), Cat – Eyeliner Effect, and Butterfly Effect Eyeliner (Havy’s Signature Eyeliner Technique

 

    •    Prerequisite Courses & Other Requirements for Admission to Program:

  REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY

An applicant denied admission by the school is entitled to a refund of all monies paid.

 

Three Day Cancellation: An applicant who provides written notice of cancellation within three days of signing an enrollment agreement is entitled to a refund of all monies paid. No later than 30 days of receiving the notice of cancellation, the school shall provide 100% of the refund.

 

Other Cancellations: An applicant requesting cancellation more than three days after signing an enrollment agreement and making an initial payment, but prior to entering the school, shall not receive a refund, but may apply the tuition paid to a different course session at a later date.

 

Refund after the commencement of classes: An applicant who has begun taking classes but is unable to finish the classes shall not receive a refund. At the institution’s sole discretion, the individual may be allowed to complete the course at a later date.

 

Cancellation by  DALLORA BEAUTY ACADEMY: DALLORA BEAUTY ACADEMY reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to low enrollment at any time. In circumstances in which DALLORA BEAUTY ACADEMY cancels a program or course for any reason, or a student is denied admission before enrollment, students shall have all tuition and fees refunded and the opportunity to enroll in a class offered at a later date.

 

 ACCREDITATION

 

DALLORA BEAUTY ACADEMY is not currently accredited by any recognized accrediting body of the U.S Department of Education. DALLORA BEAUTY ACADEMY adheres to the governing licensing regulations and standards of the State of Illinois in which it holds classes.

 

DALLORA BEAUTY ACADEMY is approved to operate by the Private Business and Vocational Schools Division of the Illinois Board of Higher Education.

 

DALLORA BEAUTY ACADEMY is not accredited by a US Department of Education recognized accrediting body.

 

CREDIT TRANSFERABILITY

Credits from another institution will not be accepted toward a Certificate of Completion. DALLORA BEAUTY ACADEMY does not award credits for the coursework completed. If a student seeks to transfer the certificate of completion to another institution the student must consult with the institution to which the student seeks to transfer if such transfer will be awarded.

 

RECORDS RETENTION

Dallora Beauty Academy  will retain the records under lock and key in a secure file box and create digital copies if there is a need for electronic transfer permanently. Dallora Beauty Academy will evaluate students in a Facebook group and retain transcripts of conversations discussing student work. The school will keep student certificate on file and provide students with certificates of attendance and completion at the end of the session. Dallora Beauty Academy  will manage all student records permanently.

 

 

 STUDENT COMPLAINT POLICY AND PROCEDURE

While our goal is to make our students feel confident to start their career as Microblading Artists after they complete their course, we understand that there is a possibility that disputes may arise. Should this happen, please contact us by emailing dallorabeautyacademy@gmail.com within 30 days of the completion of the course and we will do our best to resolve the situation.

 

 

COMPLAINTS AGAINST THIS SCHOOL MAY BE REGISTERED WITH THE BOARD OF HIGHER EDUCATION: If the complaint cannot be resolved after exhausting the institution’s grievance procedure, complaints against the school may be registered with the Board of Higher Education. Student complaints must be submitted in writing to the Board. The Board will provide forms that may be used to submit a complaint. Information about the complaint may be submitted online through the IBHE website (www.ibhe.org). Signed forms should be sent to the Board at:
